The Kempton Koyotes are welcoming players for Summer 2026 for their 10UC & 12UC teams!
OUR COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Great coaches shape confidence, build culture, teach resilience, and create the experiences young athletes remember for the rest of their lives. Strong programs are built by committed coaches, supportive families, and players who love the game.
Our coaching staff brings years of experience playing and coaching competitive athletics. Our coaches have successfully led teams at the recreational and tournament levels and have experience developing athletes across 8U, 10U, and 12U softball. Many of our coaches were multi-sport athletes themselves, and that background directly shapes how we approach youth sports today.
We also believe young players benefit from learning from those who have recently walked the same path. Throughout the year, we invite players from the championship Kutztown High School softball program to help design and lead practices. These accomplished athletes connect naturally with our players, provide instruction and encouragement, and serve as mentors and role models. By building relationships with the players they aspire to become, our athletes gain confidence, perspective, and a deeper connection to the softball community.
We believe kids should play multiple sports.
Our program supports multi-sport athletes and busy families by offering competitive softball with realistic schedules and flexibility for school, family time, vacations, and other sports. We also do our best to support players who choose to participate in recreational leagues as well.
We believe youth sports should fit into family life, not consume it.
We believe strong coaching is the foundation of a successful youth sports program. While every volunteer role matters, effective coaching requires leadership, preparation, communication, and a genuine commitment to player development.
Our coaches are trusted to lead their teams, partner with families, and help shape the culture of the program. By keeping the league coach-led and community-supported, we create an environment where experienced coaches can focus on what matters most — developing players and creating positive team experiences.
Kempton Koyotes was built around a simple idea: empower great coaches to coach.
Our philosophy is built around a community-supported, coach-led model.
We believe the best youth programs are formed when coaches, parents, and players work together toward a shared vision:
Strong player development
Positive culture
Competitive opportunities
Team continuity
Love of the game
We are not trying to create the biggest organization.
We are trying to create the kind of organization families genuinely want to be part of.
